Décor has been in St. Louis since the late 1920s. The store moved to Chesterfield when when there was lots of land and very few businesses. Today, Décor is packed with furniture and accessories. upstairs and downstairs. If you want more than furniture you can kill two birds with plenty of stones since Décor is also a jewerly store.

Intaglia's is an upscale, transitional, contemporary furniture store that also offers design services. Tim Intaglia started the company with his designer mother. His architectural background was a perfect fit. The color palette of the store is neutral; plenty of beige, brown and white. " We show more products in these colors so people can choose their own fabrics," said Tim.

Kelley Hall-Barr says she used to fool around with fragrances, soaps and salts in her basement. That hobby turned into a business she runs with her husband, John, today.
